Nicholas brings nearly 20 years of experience in political campaigns, advocacy consulting, and public affairs. Since 2020, Nick has served as State Director and, previously, Senior Strategist, to the Clean Power PA Coalition, where has been responsible for strategic planning, grants, political strategy, policy advocacy, coalition durability around a range of policies including climate tech and clean energy, decarbonization, and the implementation of IIJA & IRA. 

Prior to starting Viewpoint Public Affairs (formerly, Twenty20 Strategies), Nicholas was Senior Strategist and Federal Relations Manager for Lockridge, Grindal, Nauen, LLP and Senior Project Manager at Brass Tactics where he led multiple grassroots, engagement and earned media campaigns. In 2012, as a State Outreach Director for the Common Purpose Project, Nick worked closely with the White House Office of Public Engagement to engage stakeholders and build public and political support for President Obama’s top legislative priorities.

Nick found his passion and aptitude for campaigns in electoral politics starting with then-Senator Obama’s primary and general election campaign for president. Over his campaign career, Nick served in management roles on federal, state, municipal, and local elections.

Nick graduated with a BS from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Campaign Management from The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. Nick, a Seattle native, “married into” Lancaster County where he now lives with his wife and three sons. Nick coaches youth baseball and basketball and volunteers with Attollo Prep.
